Soccer Recap: Triton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Triton was not quite Lee County's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They came up short against the Yellow Jackets, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Triton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 459th, while Lee County are ranked 218th).

Triton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lee County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Triton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Midway on the 11th. As for Lee County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Cary on the 12th.
