Volleyball Recap: Rock Falls Takes a Loss

Rock Falls was the 2-1 winner over Milledgeville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Missiles on Saturday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Rock Falls saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Miley Bickett had four digs and two aces.

Natalie Pilgrim was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and four assists. Jozlynn Castro also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Rock Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Milledgeville, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

Rock Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Eastland on the 18th. As for Milledgeville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Stockton on the 18th.
