Baseball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 9-5 to the University Titans. The Saxons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ferris saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for University, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

While Ferris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
