After a string of five wins, Ralston Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 9-4 to the Valor Christian Eagles. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lars Jergensen was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Ralston Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Valor Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

While Ralston Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
