Baseball Recap: Baker Triumphs

Baker came out on top against North Bay Haven Academy on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Gators walked away with an 8-4 win over the Buccaneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

The team relied heavily on Justice Baldwin, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Riley Renfro, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Baker's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baker will welcome Aletheia Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bay at 6:30 p.m. This will be the Buccaneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
