Football Game Preview: ConVal Cougars vs. Hanover Bears

The ConVal Cougars will head out to face off against the Hanover Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Friday, ConVal took a blow against Manchester West, falling 41-13. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Blue Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Hanover was beaten by Pelham 55-7 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Pythons are ranked fourth).

ConVal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Hanover, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-2.

ConVal came up short against Hanover in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 17-10. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
