Flag Football Game Recap: Tucker Tigers vs. M.L. King Lions

Tucker had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the M.L. King Lions get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Zuri McCalpine-Ingram was the offensive standout of the matchup as she threw for 125 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of her passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles and defending two passes.

Looking ahead, Tucker will head out on the road to face off against Banneker at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th. As for M.L. King, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th.
