Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Millbrook's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Millbrook rose to the challenge on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Holly Springs Golden Hawks 1-0. Millbrook wouldn't have won without Gabrielle Sadosky, who scored the game-winner.

Millbrook has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those nine contests. As for Holly Springs, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-2.

Millbrook wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Wake Forest on the 19th. Holly Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
