Basketball Recap: Steinert Takes a Loss

Steinert lost to West Windsor-Plainsboro North back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the Knights. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Steinert's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro North, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Steinert will square off against Robbinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro North, they will challenge Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.9 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
