Basketball Game Preview: Space Coast Vipers vs. Odyssey Charter School Titans

Space Coast is on a three-game streak of home losses, Odyssey Charter School a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Space Coast Vipers will host the Odyssey Charter School Titans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Space Coast saw some tournament action on Friday. They were outmatched by Rockledge and fell 59-23. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 776th, while the Raiders are ranked 196th).

Meanwhile, Odyssey Charter School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 66-61 to St. Edward's.

Space Coast will need focus on slowing down Jevenson Antoine, one of several Odyssey Charter School players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 23 points. That was a full 37.7% of Odyssey Charter School's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Eli Charite was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Odyssey Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Space Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Space Coast against Odyssey Charter School in their previous matchup back in January of 2017, as the team secured a 69-37 victory.
