Florence lost against Llano back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Florence Buffaloes took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Llano Yellowjackets. The Buffaloes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Llano's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carl Schutte led the charge by putting up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden White, who posted 12 points.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Llano, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-24.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florence will face off against Blanco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Llano, they will challenge Comfort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
