Baseball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Capistrano Valley Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 7th.

The victory got Capistrano Valley Christian back to even at 11-11. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they dropped their record down to 8-11-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Capistrano Valley Christian will head out to challenge Western Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alameda at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
