It was a good run, but Coldspring-Oakhurst unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-3 to the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Coldspring-Oakhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Anderson-Shiro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

While Coldspring-Oakhurst had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
