Football Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Lincoln Tigers

Two dominant signal callers in Albert Cardenas and Andrew Evangelista are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Franklin Panthers will face off against the Lincoln Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin has given up an average of 26.9 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Franklin is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 15, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by St. Monica and fell 55-21. The Panthers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Marshall on Friday, taking the game 35-28. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Barristers: they've now won eight in a row.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Franklin against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
