Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeland). They never let the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes get on the board and left with a 27-0 win on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Lakeland and bumps their season record up to 11-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Lakeland is taking a road trip to face off against Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chippewa Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
