Baseball Recap: Campbellsport Takes a Loss

Campbellsport's last matchup with Laconia could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 9-2 to the Spartans. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Kyler Bowe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Campbellsport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Laconia, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Campbellsport had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
