Softball Recap: McComb Comes Up Short

McComb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-5 to the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.

McComb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Sherick, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

McComb's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Ridgemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McComb will be taking part in a tournament against Leipsic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridgemont, they will venture away from home to square off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
