Basketball Game Recap: Ridgefield Memorial vs. Bergen Charter

Their game last Thursday wasn't at all kind to the Ridgefield Memorial Royals, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They made easy work of Bergen Charter on Tuesday and carried off a 51-22 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Ridgefield, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The win bumped the Royals' record up to 5-12. Bergen Charter's overall record fell to 0-14.

The Royals have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Leonia today. Unlike Ridgefield, Leonia will be stumbling in off of a defeat. Bergen Charter is on the road again next week and plays against New Milford. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest.
