Baseball Recap: Peters Township's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

The Peters Township Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the Moon Area Tigers on Friday and fell 7-6. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

James Tygard was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. Colin Stofik also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Peters Township's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Moon Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

While Peters Township had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
