Woodcreek had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Rio Americano Raiders by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

The win didn't come easy: Rio Americano scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18.

Woodcreek was led to victory by Samantha Campanale and Madison Walsh. Campanale had 25 digs and two aces, while Walsh had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Walsh has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Logan Campanale, who had nine digs and one assist.

Woodcreek's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Rio Americano, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.
