Kelly Walsh waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Green River Wolves. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Wolves two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Lillian Hudson paced Kelly Walsh's offense, picking up 19 kills. Hudson got some help from Noa Hodgin and her 26 assists. Sedar Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the defeat, Green River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brookelyn Phillips had 34 digs and two assists. Those 34 digs set a new season-high mark for Phillips.

Kelly Walsh's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Green River, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 matches and leaves them with a 24-5 record.

Kelly Walsh didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against East on the 6th. As for Green River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Sheridan on the 6th.
