Soccer Recap: Halls Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Halls has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to the Bearden Bulldogs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Halls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Bearden are ranked fourth).

Halls' goal came courtesy of Kevin Pendergrass, who's now up to 11 this season.

Halls' defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Bearden, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1-1.

Halls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bearden, they will challenge Hardin Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
