Basketball Recap: Shanley Drops Highest Score of Season Against Fargo North

Shanley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 72-64 to the Fargo North Spartans. One positive for the Deacons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Shanley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fargo North, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shanley will welcome Fargo Davies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fargo Davies has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three games. As for Fargo North, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Horace at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Horace's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
