Basketball Recap: Harmony Area Owls vs. Curwensville Golden Tide
Harmony Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 60-45 bruising from the Curwensville Golden Tide. If the Owls were looking for revenge after losing 65-60 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Curwensville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Davis Fleming, who almost dropped a triple-double on 24 points, nine boards, and 11 assists. Fleming's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tuck Tkacik, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Harmony Area's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Curwensville, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony Area will welcome Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony Area is facing Glendale at the right time seeing as Glendale is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Curwensville, they will host Williamsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Williamsburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
