Basketball Recap: Atlantic City Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Atlantic City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Millville Thunderbolts by a score of 60-52 on Thursday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Thunderbolts are ranked 294th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atlantic City's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. As for Millville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Atlantic City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 87-52 win against Absegami on the 15th. Millville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
