Stanton County hadn't done well against Lakin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans enjoyed a cozy 58-41 victory over the Broncs. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Stanton County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was David Crane out in front who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 21 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Crane has scored at least a third of the Trojans' points. Another player making a difference was Gerardo Robles, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 17 points and six boards.

Stanton County's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Lakin, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-8.
