Volleyball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County's tournament run continued when they took on Harpeth on Friday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1.

Jackson County's offense was headlined by Jules Looper and Eva Wilson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Bella Chaffin and her six assists. Kenley Letterman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Harpeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jackson County and Harpeth will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
