Grafton and Tabb are an even 3-3-4 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Clippers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Grafton came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Maggie Walker are ranked 153rd).

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Tabb rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 4-2. Tabb haven't had any issues with New Kent recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Grafton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-2 record this season. As for Tabb, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-4.
