Basketball Recap: Bert Corona Charter Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Triumph Charter, Bert Corona Charter was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 43-31 win over the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 34-28 back in January.

Bert Corona Charter now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Valley Oaks CES, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Triumph Charter the next time they take the court. Valley Oaks CES will head out to face Triumph Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bert Corona Charter will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
