South Central Ohio recap October 29, 2013

Clinton-Massie moved up to 68 from 103 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in South Central Ohio. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of besting Miami Trace 42-7.

Clinton-Massie added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Panthers, 42-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the Dan Mcsurley's team.

Chayse Wolf was a passing and rushing force as the Falcons defeated Miami Trace. Wolf's key target this week was Austin Florea, who caught 3 passes for 50 yards.

Hunter Fentress and Wolf gave Clinton-Massie a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Fentress threw for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Wolf ran for 200 yards. Zach Santoro also contributed to the rushing game with 23 yards on the ground.

East Clinton's Dalton Floyd and Clyde Snow led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Floyd has thrown for 1,766 yards this season, while Snow has 43 catches for 671 yards. The Falcons' Bayle Wolf leads the league in rushing yards with 1,053.

One of South Central Ohio's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Astros and Clinton-Massie face off next week.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when East Clinton takes on the Falcons. Bill Hrabak's team is in sixth place, while Clinton-Massie is in first place.

There should be lots of points scored when the Astros and the Falcons face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, East Clinton comes in having scored 185 this season, while Clinton-Massie has scored 19. The Astros scored 0 points last week as they lost to Chillicothe.

The Falcons led the league in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Panthers. Wolf ran for 200 yards and caught 1 pass for 18 yards in the win.
