Basketball Recap: Pisgah Falls Despite Big Games from Ethan Prater and Benjamin Bricker

Pisgah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They came up short against the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints, falling 59-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-27 two weeks ago.

Pisgah's loss came despite strong showings from Benjamin Bricker and Ethan Prater. Bricker posted ten points and three steals, while Prater had four points and five rebounds.

Warwick Alley was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 22 en route to 28 points in addition to seven steals and six boards for St. Andrew's Episcopal. The dominant performance gave Alley a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Pisgah has already played their next game (against Puckett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Andrew's Episcopal has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Pelahatchie.
