Penfield got themselves on the board against Greece Odyssey on Monday, but Greece Odyssey never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Penfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.1 runs on average over those games. As for Greece Odyssey, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Coming up, Penfield will venture away from home to take on Fairport at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.56 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greece Odyssey, they will welcome Webster Schroeder at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
