Soccer Recap: Palmer Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Palmer hadn't done well against Doherty recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Palmer Terrors skirted past the Doherty Spartans 2-1. For the Terrors, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Skylar Angelidis was the driving force of Palmer's attack as she scored both of Palmer's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

The victory was the third in a row for Palmer, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three contests. As for Doherty, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Pueblo South on the 13th. As for Doherty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Coronado on the 13th.
