Softball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence blew Winslow out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Winslow got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Black Raiders by a score of 6-4. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winslow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Lawrence will host Oceanside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winslow, they will venture away from home to take on Waterville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something the Black Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
