Football Game Recap: Charleston vs. East Prairie

Charleston entered their matchup on Friday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. Everything went their way against East Prairie on Friday as they made off with a 49-20 win. Followers of Charleston probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

The victory was the 6th in a row for Charleston, as they raised their record to 7-1. The defeat dropped East Prairie's record to 2-6.

Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week Charleston take on Herculaneum at 7:00 PM. Charleston will be strutting in after a win while Herculaneum will be stumbling in from a loss. As for East Prairie, they will face off against Fredericktown.
