Baseball Recap: Hardin Valley Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Oak Ridge

Hardin Valley Academy faced Oak Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hardin Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6-1. As for Oak Ridge, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

Coming up, Hardin Valley Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Maryville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Karns at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
