Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh lost against Caruthers back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Firebaugh Eagles took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caruthers Blue Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Firebaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Caruthers, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will head out to face off against Coalinga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caruthers, they will venture away from home to square off against Minarets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
