Softball Recap: Riverside University/Meir Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Riverside University/Meir's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Greendale Panthers on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, Riverside University/Meir's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Riverside University/Meir's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Greendale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside University/Meir will challenge Milwaukee King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside University/Meir are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Greendale, they will face off against Milwaukee Reagan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
