Basketball Recap: John Battle's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

John Battle lost to Sullivan East back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The John Battle Trojans walked away with a 63-51 win over the Sullivan East Patriots.

John Battle's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Sullivan East, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

John Battle and Panther Creek will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Panther Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season. As for Sullivan East, they will take on Bearden in a tournament on Thursday.
