Basketball Recap: Averill Park Takes a Loss

After flying high against Niskayuna last Tuesday, Averill Park came back down to earth. The Averill Park Warriors fell 48-39 to the Colonie Central Wolfpack on Friday. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Averill Park's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Colonie Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Coming up, Averill Park will take on Shenendehowa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonie Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
