Softball Preview: Bayard Rustin Golden Knights vs. Avon Grove Red Devils
Bayard Rustin is 2-7 against Avon Grove since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Bayard Rustin is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Kennett 15-0 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Ashley Falcone was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs.
