Football Recap: Bonita Springs Comes Up Short

Bonita Springs fell victim to Countryside and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 26-0 to the Cougars.

Bonita Springs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. The win (which was Countryside's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Bonita Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 25-0 defeat against East Lake on the 28th. As for Countryside, they will head out on the road to take on Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Countryside 8.5, Keswick Christian 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
