Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots + How To Watch

Providence Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Mount Pisgah Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Storm will venture away from home to square off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Providence Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Mount Pisgah Christian will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Providence Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory.

Zoie Cameron went supernova, dropping a double-double with 32 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sazy Cantrell, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Mount Pisgah Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 45-26 to Prince Avenue Christian. The Patriots were down 37-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Providence Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 57-31 defeat they got from Mount Pisgah Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2020. Can the Storm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
