Basketball Recap: Mountain Valley Comes Up Short

Mountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 56-30 to the Mt. Blue Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Cougars are ranked 33rd).

Mountain Valley's record is now 2-10. As for Mt. Blue, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Valley will welcome Boothbay at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Blue, they will be playing at home against Skowhegan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
