Basketball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

Bremen lost against Crete-Monee back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bremen Braves fell 40-30 to the Crete-Monee Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Warriors are ranked 69th).

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Crete-Monee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Bremen will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lockport at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Crete-Monee, they will challenge Joliet West on January 5, 2025.
