It was a good run, but Madison unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 53-28 to the Spruce Mountain Phoenix. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since January 31, 2024.

Madison's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Spruce Mountain, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Madison will be playing in front of their home fans against Boothbay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Spruce Mountain, they will venture away from home to take on Mount Abram at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
