Baseball Game Preview: West Florence Knights vs. Ridge View Blazers

For the second straight game, West Florence will face off against Ridge View. The Knights will take on the Blazers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Florence's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Ridge View's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

West Florence headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for five straight, but Ridge View let them put that streak behind them. The Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand the Blazers a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Knights' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

For Ridge View's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Gary, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Ridge View is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10. As for West Florence, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-4 record.
