Basketball Recap: S & S Consolidated Takes a Loss

S & S Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Clyde Bulldogs, falling 75-28. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

Despite the defeat, S & S Consolidated saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brenden Hammer posted seven points and six steals.

S & S Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Clyde, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

S & S Consolidated didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 88-27 defeat against Jacksboro on the 14th. As for Clyde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-35 loss against Whitesboro on the 14th.
