Softball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Takes a Loss

Mount Everett Regional was the 17-9 winner over Ludlow when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Makayla Carpenter made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of London Krans, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Mount Everett Regional now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ludlow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Mount Everett Regional will venture away from home to take on Taconic at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ludlow, they will welcome Chicopee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
