Softball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Beyer Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Sasha Siemiller and Isabella Chavez stepped up to the plate in a big way. Siemiller went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Chavez scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Chavez a new career-high.

Pacheco's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Beyer, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacheco will square off against rival Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beyer is set to challenge their familiar foe Lathrop at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
